The candidate will analyze sales performance, build dashboards, and translate insights into management recommendations. A 6-month contract with a monthly salary up to RM7,000 is offered, requiring strong Excel/Power BI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent.
• Experience in FMCG, General Trade, Retail, Sales Planning, Trade Marketing, or Commercial analytics is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Job description

We're looking for a commercially minded individual with experience in FMCG, Trade Marketing, General Trade, Sales Planning, or Commercial Analytics to support programs/initiatives, analyze sales performance, and develop initiatives that drive category growth.
Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Contract: 6-Month Contract
Salary: Up to RM7,000/month
Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and maintain business performance reports and dashboards.
• Analyze data to identify trends, root causes, business issues, and growth opportunities.
• Support the design and execution of category growth programs and initiatives.
• Conduct post-mortem analysis to evaluate program effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare presentations and management reports, translating data into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business planning and execution.
• Support ad-hoc analyses, projects, and management requests.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, or related fields.
• FMCG, General Trade, Retail, Sales Planning, Trade Marketing, or Commercial experience is highly preferred.
• Experience in retailer program development, sales initiatives, or trade promotions will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze sales data and identify actionable insights.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is an advantage.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to present ideas to management.
• Proactive, commercially minded, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
