Job summary

Avient Corporation in Penang is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time laboratory role focused on color matching and material testing in our R&D labs. You will perform color matching, prepare samples for customers, maintain color matching folders, assist in evaluating new raw materials, and support QC activities as needed.

Knowledge of MS Office and business English is expected. Candidates with a diploma or degree in science or engineering and at least some secondary education with

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Higher secondary education with work experiences and demonstrated competences.
• 2 years working experience in injection and extrusion molding would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of computer usage (MS Office) and business English.
• Good color sense and color knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform color matching, application operation and testing in the laboratory.
• QC samples before dispatching out to customer.
• Assists in preparing samples for customers and documentation for sample dispatch.
• Maintain storage of color matching folders.
