Job summary

Focus Chemical Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a chemist to develop paste formulations, prepare wet samples, and match colour products for coating, gloves, tape, and more.

You will evaluate raw materials and finished products, maintain ISO 9001 documentation, investigate customer feedback, and assist the Head of Department with process analysis and quality issue resolution. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Degree in chemistry or science with 1–3 years' experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop paste formulations and prepare wet samples.
• Match new colour products for coating, gloves, tape, etc.
• Evaluate raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain ISO 9001 documentation.
• Investigate and respond to customer feedback.
• Assist HOD in process analysis and resolve quality issues.
• Prepare reports summarizing testing results for HOD.

5. Handling investigation of customers’ feedback.

6. Assist HOD in process analysis and resolves quality related issues.

7. Prepare report and summarize testing result to HOD.

Job requirements

• Prefer degree in chemistry or any science disciplines with 1-3 years relevant working experience
• Team player with ability to work independently and under time pressure.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organization skill.
• Quick learner with well-developed logical, rational thinking skill.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin & English.
• Candidates fluent in mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
