Job summary

Standard Chartered in Malaysia is seeking a Collections professional to contact customers for payments and maximize collections prior to charge-off. The role entails meeting monthly targets, negotiating staggered payment proposals, and escalating high-risk cases while ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping.

The position requires strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with experience in using call scripts and collection systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree holder.
• Languages: English, Bahasa.

Responsibilities

• Achieve collection performance against monthly targets/scorecard.
• Meet conduct as per monthly Scorecard.
• Support negotiation of staggered payment proposals/full & final settlements.
• Ensure dialler productivity meets the relevant performance benchmarks.
• Evaluate and assign cases to Field Visit Officers for Settlement/R&R/AKPK Letter of Offer follow-up or visitation on habitually delinquent & avoiding customers.
• Escalate complex or high-value delinquent accounts for legal action.
• Update all collection activities into Collection System (CACS) accurately.
