Job summary

Qualifications

• Good communication and negotiation skills in Malay; English proficiency is an advantage.
• Self-confident, disciplined, target-oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Able to handle telephone calls effectively and use computers and basic office applications.
• Honest, responsible, professional attitude and able to maintain confidentiality of customer information.
• Willing to work based on KPI and established work schedules.

Responsibilities

• Contact bank customers by telephone to remind and collect outstanding payments for loans, credit cards, personal financing and other banking facilities.
• Communicate professionally with customers to understand financial situations and identify reasons for payment delays.
• Discuss and propose suitable payment solutions based on bank guidelines and procedures.
• Negotiate with customers to obtain payment commitments and ensure payments within agreed timeframes.
• Make follow-up calls to monitor payment promises (Promise to Pay) and ensure commitments are fulfilled.
• Update call records, account status, negotiation results and payment information in the company system.
• Achieve monthly collection targets and KPI set by management.
• Handle customer information and banking accounts confidentially and comply with SOP and regulations.
• Perform other debt collection-related tasks as directed by management.
