Job summary

MeHow Medical (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced CNC operator in Penang, Malaysia. The role requires at least 3 years of CNC machine operation and familiarity with CNC processes and drawings. Röders CNC experience is an advantage, with high-precision machining tolerances and the ability to work night shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent education.
• Minimum 3 years of CNC machine operation experience.
• Familiar with CNC processes and following machining procedures.
• Experience operating Röders CNC machines is an advantage.
• Able to perform high-precision CNC machining with tolerance up to ±0.005–0.010 mm.

Responsibilities

• Work in strict accordance with CNC safety operation standards.
• Follow process flow and CNC procedures.
• Daily inspection, preservation, and maintenance of CNC equipment and sub-equipment.
• Maintain 5S in the CNC area and surroundings.
• Self-check after machining; raise abnormalities promptly.
• Maintain and use CNC clamping fixtures properly.
• Execute tasks assigned by superiors.
• Fill on-duty production daily performance reports; record quality status and abnormalities.
• Apply on-duty tools and materials; safeguard and record usage.
• Use CNC fixtures, cutting tools, magnetic tables correctly and perform daily maintenance.
• Offer reasonable suggestions and report to superiors in a timely manner.

Job description

Responsible for working in strict accordance with CNC safety operation standard;

Responsible for working in strict accordance with the process flow and CNC procedures;

Responsible for daily inspection/ preservation /maintenance of CNC machining equipment and sub-equipment in accordance with the standard;

Responsible for 5S management of CNC machine and surroundings;

Responsible for the self-checking after the completion of the CNC machining of the workpiece, abnormal problems are raised in a timely manner;

Responsible for the maintenance and reasonable use of CNC clamping fixtures;

Responsible for executing works arranged by superiors;

Responsible for filling out the on-duty production daily performance report, record clearly the quality status and other abnormality;

Responsible for applying on-duty tools, materials, and responsible for safekeeping, recording the usage condition of tools;

Responsible for the correct use of CNC standardized fixtures, cutting tools, magnetic tables, etc. and daily maintenance work;

Responsible for adopting reasonable suggestions and reporting to superiors in a timely manner;

Requirement:

Education: Minimum SPM or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC machine operation.

Technical Skills: Familiar with operating CNC machines and following CNC machining processes and procedures.

Experience operating Röders CNC machines will be an added advantage.

Able to perform high-precision CNC machining with tolerance requirements of up to ±0.005 mm - ±0.010 mm.

Able to perform basic machine inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting/reporting of abnormalities.

Able to read and follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and CNC programs is preferred.

Willing and able to work night shifts.

Responsible, safety-conscious, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
