Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC press brake equipment and setting up tooling.
• Familiarity with metal fabrication and sheet metal bending processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings and perform basic measurements.
• Knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, angle gauges).
• Understanding of quality inspection and tolerance verification.
• Able to work safely, follow procedures, and maintain cleanliness.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a production team.
• Willing to work shifts or overtime to meet production needs.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site CNC press brake bending operator role is based in Greater Johor Bahru. The operator sets up and runs CNC press brake machines to bend sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and production specifications. Daily tasks include interpreting technical drawings, selecting appropriate tools, performing machine setup, and monitoring operations to ensure accurate dimensions and angles. The role involves checking parts for quality, making necessary adjustments to machine parameters, and maintaining equipment cleanliness and basic preventive maintenance. The operator collaborates with the production team to meet output targets, follows safety procedures, and documents production activities as required.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Machine Operation and Machinery handling for CNC press brake equipment.
• Candidates should possess skills in Machining and Milling relevant to metalworking and fabrication environments.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control, including measurement, visual inspection, and tolerance verification.
• Basic understanding of technical drawings and mechanical measurements (e.g., calipers, micrometers, angle gauges).
• Prior experience in metal fabrication, sheet metal bending, or similar manufacturing roles is beneficial.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines, work standing for extended periods, and handle materials in a factory setting.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work shifts or overtime as needed to meet production schedules.
