Qualifications

• 2+ years proven experience as CNC Machinist and Programmer.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code, M-code) and CAD/CAM software.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality control procedures.
• Experience with precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers and CMM.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances.

About the role

Engrich Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist and Programmer to join our engineering team. This is a full-time position based in Penang Island, Penang, offering an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technology and precision engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining CNC machines whilst ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position is integral to our manufacturing operations and plays a key role in delivering precision components that meet our clients' specifications.

What you'll be doing

Programme CNC machines using CAD/CAM software and G-code to produce precision components according to design specifications

Operate CNC machines including mills, lathes, and multi-axis centres, ensuring safe and efficient operation

Set up machines, install cutting tools, and configure workholding devices

Perform quality checks and inspections of finished components using precision measurement tools

Troubleshoot machine issues and perform routine maintenance and cleaning

Optimise cutting parameters and machining processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste

Maintain detailed records of production runs and machine performance

Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve technical challenges

Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work environment

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist and Programmer, preferably 2+ years in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Fresh graduate are encourage to apply

Proficiency in CNC programming (G-code, M-code) and experience with CAD/CAM software

Strong knowledge of precision machining techniques and best practices

Experience with precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometres, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

Mechanical aptitude and understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances

Knowledge of ISO standards and quality control procedures

Relevant certification or qualifications in CNC machining would be advantageous
