Job summary

Straits Orthopaedics (Mfg) Sdn Bhd in Batu Kawan is seeking a CNC Machinist to support our medical devices production. The role requires interpreting engineering drawings, operating CNC machines, and maintaining quality standards.

Straits exports products to the US, China, Japan, and Europe and is ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certified, with US FDA registration and 21 CFR Part 820 compliance. Candidates should hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, have at least 1 year of machining experience, and

• Skill in using measuring equipment such as profile projector, optical measuring machine, caliper, micrometer, roughness tester, etc.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all customer requirements are met.
• Ensure work practices comply with the company's quality management system requirements.
• Follow instructions given by immediate superior.
• Work in a team to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure good housekeeping at the work area.
• Suggest improvements to current activities or practices to the superior.
• Perform any other duties assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

Job description

Ensure that all customer requirements are met;

Ensure work practices are in compliant to the the company's quality management system requirement;

Follow instruction given by immediate superior;

Work in a team to meet customer requirments;

Ensure good housekeeping practice at the work area;

Suggest to superior any improvement to current activities or practices, if applicable;

Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

Job Requirement:

Candidates must possess at least Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Preferably 1 years working experience in the machining industry

Interpret engineering drawing, skill in using measuring equipment such as profile projector, optical measuring machine, caliper, micrometer, roughness tester etc.

Proficient: English and Bahasa Malaysia

Must be able to work in a team and independently

Able to work In shift (9 hours Shift)

Able to work In Batu Kawan
