Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN LIFEWORK SDN BHD is seeking a skilled operator for CNC machining environments. You will guide Production Manufacturing Specialists, ensure quality output, and follow work instructions, process notes, and safety standards.

Minimum 3+ years of experience, a Diploma in CNC/Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, and proficiency with calipers/micrometers are required. Gcode/MCode programming skills are needed. Mon-Fri 8:30am-6pm; overtime applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working experience in CNC machining/manufacturing.
• Diploma or higher in CNC, Manufacturing, or Mechanical engineering.
• Able to use precision tools: caliper, micrometer, gauges.
• Experience with Gcode/MCode programming and setup.
• Own transport and valid driving license.
• Willing to work Monday to Friday, some overtime.

Responsibilities

• Guide Production Manufacturing Specialists to perform daily tasks.
• Inspect production line and train MSs in setting per WI/PEI.
• Check and ensure completion of MS reports via Job Cards/Dcapt.
• Update machine boards with proper labels and data.
• Create periodic Line Audits on 5-S, Quality, EHS improvements.
• Coordinate with Leaders on defective parts for each machine.
• Document MMRs with Technicians and changeover files.
• Ensure proper documentation during changeover setups.

Job description

Reporting to Leader or Machinist III : The role involves guiding Production Manufacturing Specialists to perform daily tasks expected to result in quality and productive output guided by Work Schedules, Work Instructions, Process Engineering Information and other related Procedures.

Key responsibilities

Ensuring completion of materials at the Line of responsibility (Metal/Plastic Bin/Pallet, Sample of Defects, Metal Push and others)

Inspect production line, train and build competent MSs in setting by following W.I., P.E.I and other standards including EHS

Check and ensure proper completion of work of each MS's Reports through Job Cards/Dcapt system

Update job completion to Machine Production Boards all the time, including the necessary labels for each machine

Create and perform periodic Line Audits on 5-S, Quality, EHS for improvements

Communicate and coordinate with Production Leaders / Supervisors on defective Parts for each machine

Ensure accurate and full documentation of Generated MMRs (Machine Maintenance Record) as agreed with Technicians involved

Ensuring well documented information during changeover jig, fixture and documentation to avoid mistakes during set-up and production (eg: Cutter tool list, Marked up drawing, Set up sheet/set up Check list / In Process inspection report )

Arrange finished Products per machine, documents and arrange to its locations (involves contaminants)

Endorses to the incoming Shift Leaders and reports to the Group Leader for any issues / concerns and reports to each end-shift Meetings so that the counterpart is guided accordingly

About you

Minimum working experience is above 3 years

Minimum SKM Level 4 / DKM (Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia) in CNC Machining / Manufacturing, or Diploma in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience

Able to use Precision Tools Measurement (caliper, gauges micrometer)

Experience in Milling, Turning, Routers, Lathe (3-5 Axis)

Experience in Gcode/MCode to program and set up machines

Able to perform SPC on repetitive processes

Have strong sense of Quality, Safety, Responsibilities and Target Achievement

Possess own transport and active license

Monday-Friday, 830am-600pm

Overtime required but not Auto

Contract 6 months, will review for conversion if pass with good performance
