Job summary

Talent Recruit is seeking a Production Supervisor/Line Leader (CNC Production) to oversee daily CNC production operations in Malaysia. This role involves planning schedules, assigning tasks, and ensuring on-time completion of orders while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of production line experience, hands-on CNC programming knowledge (MasterCam/HyperMill/Cimatron/SurfMill), and strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work schedules and assign workers to production line tasks.
• Evaluate incoming orders and set up the production line accordingly.
• Optimise production line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.
• Identify and resolve production line problems in a timely manner.
• Perform recordkeeping tasks, including tool inventory and order tracking.
• Train and supervise new production line workers.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure orders are completed on time.
• Maintain fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment.

We are representing a leading precision engineering and professional tooling services provider in Malaysia. They specialise in precision tooling and die-set design/refurbishment, CNC machining, fabrication, and general machining, and custom engineering solutions and rapid prototyping.

Job Description:

• Prepare work schedules and assign workers to production line tasks.
• Evaluate incoming orders and set up the production line accordingly.
• Optimise production line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality.
• Identify and resolve production line problems in a timely manner.
• Perform recordkeeping tasks, including tool inventory and order tracking.
• Train and supervise new production line workers.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure orders are completed on time.
• Maintain fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• SKM/Diploma/Certificate
• 5 years of experience in the production line.
• Experienced with programming MasterCam, HyperMill, Cimatron or SurfMil for CNC.
• Having experience in a leadership role is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of product specifications and production standards.
• In-depth knowledge of industry regulations.
• Proficiency in computers and office software.
• Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Excellent problem-solving techniques.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Additional Information:

• Working hours: 8am-6pm (Day shift), 8pm-6pm (night shift) 2-week rotation
• Meal allowance provided
• Attendance Allowance (No lateness/MC/Unpaid leaves)
• OT Allowance provided
