Job summary

ULTRA CLEAN TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is hiring a CNC Operator in Penang. You will ensure products meet quality and safety standards, perform tool setting, and measure parts before release to production.

Responsibilities include operating CNC routers, milling and turning machines, conducting test-runs, and maintaining tools and fixtures. Shift work and physical load accommodations mentioned.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 years in a machine shop (semiconductor or machining).
• Ability to operate CNC router, milling and turning machines.
• Can read production instructions and drawings/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC router, milling & turning machines to meet output targets and quality.
• Test-run CNC machines for next work order.
• Replace cutting tools based on tool length setup.
• Daily maintenance of CNC machines and adherence to maintenance procedures.
• Operate and maintain jigs and fixtures.
• Load/unload workpieces per Work Instruction.
• Follow CNC manufacturing schedule.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

CNC Operator make sure that products meet standards of quality and safety. Responsible for tool setter andperforming inspections and measures parts before release to productions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC router , milling & turning machine skilfully, ensuring achieve daily output target and manufacturing quality.
• Test-run the CNC machines for next workorder.
• Based on tool list, require replacing the cutting tools with tool length setup.
• Daily maintenance of CNC machine and adhere to maintenance procedure.
• Operate and maintenance of jigs and fixture.
• Workpiece loading / unloading as per Work Instruction.
• Follow and adhere to CNC manufacturing schedule.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications and database software
• Must be computer literate!
• Basic math abilities
• Must be able to read and apply production instructions, drawings, and specifications in a proficient level
• Intermediate level of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance), must be able to independently and adequately interpret and apply GD&T to every job in a daily basis
• Intermediate level for mechanical measurement techniques and workmanship standards related to machining and basic knowledge of polishing , cosmetic touch up and capable to operate conventional Mill , Drill , Lathe and Pedestal grinders.
• Able to read and interpret specifications, standards and engineering drawings/Blue Prints.
• Proficiency using hand held tools (micrometers, calipers, Optical Comparator, profile projector, surface roughness and other measuring and test equipment.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Certificate in Mechanical/Technical cert in Machining/Vocational School or above
• Tooling or mechanical major

Experience Requirement:

Work Experience:

• 3 years working in machine shop. Semi-Conductor and/or machining.
• Operating CNC machines with minimum supervision.
• Familiar with operating and maintenance CNC router, milling and turning machine.
• Familiar with tool structure and drawing.
• Familiar with CNC manufacturing process.
• Work in plastic machining field is an advantage.

Experience Requirement:

• Able to carry heavy loads (up to 20Kg)
• Must be willing to work in the production floor and relevant process area based on task assigned.
• Must be willing to work shift work and OT if required.
• Good attitude and willing to learn new knowledge.
