Job summary

CARiNG Pharmacy is seeking a Junior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to support daily operations of our cloud and infrastructure environments across HQ, warehouse, and retail stores. You will assist with monitoring, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting under the guidance of senior engineers.

The role emphasizes provisioning in AWS, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud, server administration for Linux and Windows, and ensuring security through IAM and access management. Fresh graduates are welcome.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate with Diploma or Degree in IT, CS, or Network Engineering.
• Basic understanding of Linux/Windows OS.
• Fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, subnets).
• Relational databases and SQL fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in provisioning and managing cloud resources on AWS, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and alerts.

The Junior Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer supports the daily operations of the organization’s cloud and infrastructure environments, including cloud platforms, servers, and network connectivity across HQ, warehouse, and retail stores. The role focuses on monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and assisting with infrastructure administration under senior team guidance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cloud Infrastructure Operations

• Assist in provisioning and managing cloud resources on AWS, GCP, and Alibaba Cloud.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and system alerts.
• Perform routine maintenance, patching, and updates for cloud-based systems.
• Support backup verification and assist with disaster recovery testing.

2. Server Administration

• Support Linux and Windows servers used in cloud and on-premise environments.
• Perform basic OS administration, including user access management and service monitoring.
• Monitor server performance (CPU, memory, disk utilization).
• Perform first-level troubleshooting for server and OS-related issues.

3. Security & Access Management

• Assist with IAM user and role management in cloud environments.
• Support access provisioning and deprovisioning following security policies.
• Monitor system and firewall logs and escape suspicious activities.
• Monitor infrastructure health and respond to alerts.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting and escape complex incidents when required.

5. Documentation

Maintain technical documentation including:

• Cloud infrastructure configurations
• Network connectivity diagrams
• Operational procedures
• Assist with incident reporting and post-incident documentation.

Required Qualifications

Fresh graduate with Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.

Basic understanding of:

• Linux and/or Windows operating systems
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs)
• Server and cloud computing concepts
• Relational databases and SQL fundamentals

Willingness to support multiple locations (HQ, warehouse, retail stores).

Strong willingness to learn and follow operational procedures.
