Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support enterprise cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS. The role focuses on reliability, availability, and security across Windows and Linux servers while helping internal stakeholders and customers.

You will provide Level 1 and 2 support, administer cloud infrastructure, and resolve incidents with root-cause analysis. The position emphasizes automation, documentation, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience supporting Windows and Linux servers in a cloud environment.
• Hands-on experience administering MS Azure and AWS.
• Experience with vulnerability remediation, patching, and maintenance.
• Proficiency creating runbooks and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 & Level 2 operational support for Windows and Linux servers in Azure and AWS environments.
• Administer and maintain Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and operational excellence.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents by identifying root causes and implementing fixes.
• Perform vulnerability remediation across Windows, Linux, Azure, and AWS cloud services.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, maintenance activities, and new platform implementations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles to improve operational consistency.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate with cloud platform, infrastructure, security, and application teams to support business operations.

• Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud infrastructure, servers, networking, and production environments.


• Experience supporting production incidents, performing root cause analysis, and restoring services within SLA.


• Experience with vulnerability remediation, patching, and infrastructure maintenance.


• Knowledge of patch management tools such as SCCM, AWS Systems Manager (SSM), and Azure Update Manager.


• Scripting experience using PowerShell and Bash for automation and operational tasks.


• Ability to produce clear technical documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
