Job summary

Stryker Group in Malaysia seeks a dedicated technician to provide technical consultative service before, during and after routine surgical cases. You will ensure customers understand product specifications and usage, monitor instrument kits, and assist in inventory management at customer locations.

The role includes supporting routine surgical procedures, troubleshooting product issues, documenting incidents, and delivering product training to colleagues and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing or Health Sciences related fields required.
• Nursing or Scrubbing and Operation Theatre case support experience preferred.
• Good communication skills in spoken and written English required.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective technical consultative service to customers before, during and after routine surgical cases.
• Apply product proficiency by ensuring customers comprehend technical specifications and usage instructions of Stryker products.
• Case prearrangement and instrument & implant kits monitoring.
• Provide inventory management and invoicing to customers and branch operations.
• Provide consigned and owned inventory management support by delivering, organizing and monitoring inventory of implants and instruments at customer location.
• Attend and support routine primary surgical procedures.
• Identify and troubleshoot product-related issues in customer applications.
• Document incidents and assist in reports according to policy and government requirements.
• Assist in return/addition of products from field service issues and stock adjustments.
• Ensure products needing maintenance are returned to the branch timely.
• Provide product training to colleagues/customers in 1:1 and in-service settings.
• Keep updated on product knowledge through training and seminars.

What You Will Do:

• Confidently identify and troubleshoot product-related issues related to a customer’s application of a product


• Document every incident regarding product performance issues; assist in preparing reports regarding these product issues according to Company policy and governmental requirements


• Assist in the return/addition of products resulting from field service issues, stock adjustments, field actions, and administrative processes according to Company procedures


• Ensure that products requiring maintenance are returned to the branch in a timely manner


• Provide some product training to colleagues and/or customers in both one-on-one and in-service settings


• Keep updated on product knowledge and professional skills through internal training, external seminars and other sources

What You Need:
