Job description

Provide clinical instruction, supervision, and guidance to nursing students during clinical placements to ensure effective application of theoretical knowledge into nursing practice.

Conduct clinical teaching, skills demonstrations, and classroom instruction in accordance with course objectives, curriculum requirements, and lesson plans.

Supervise and evaluate students’ clinical performance, nursing skills competency, professional conduct, and achievement of learning outcomes.

Guide students in delivering safe and effective patient care while ensuring compliance with nursing standards, clinical guidelines, and patient safety practices.

Provide mentorship, feedback, and support to students to enhance their clinical skills, critical thinking, and professional development.

Collaborate with faculty members and clinical placement partners to ensure effective coordination and delivery of clinical training.

Maintain accurate documentation of students’ clinical attendance, assessments, and performance evaluations.

Participate in academic activities, meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives related to nursing education.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field.

Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practising certificate (where applicable).

Minimum clinical experience in relevant nursing areas.

Strong clinical knowledge and practical nursing skills.

Good communication, teaching, and mentoring skills.
