Job summary

Instedt Prima is seeking a qualified Clinical Instructor to supervise nursing students during clinical practice and enhance their practical skills for safe patient care.

The role involves supervising placements, coordinating ward assignments, and maintaining learning environments across hospitals and clinical sites. A strong nursing background with at least five years of clinical experience is required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Valid practicing Annual Practice Certificate from Malaysian Nursing Board.
• Post-Basic Certificate or Advanced Diploma from the Malaysian Nursing Board.
• At least 5 years of experience in clinical areas.
• Experience in Obstetrics Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Gerontology or Medical-Surgical Nursing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical placement teaching at hospitals or clinics as assigned.
• Provide clinical experiences and ward assignments with guidance and supervision.
• Manage skill laboratory inventories, practical rooms and simulation wards.
• Create a conducive learning environment for students.
• Write and submit students’ clinical posting reports.
• Monitor attendance and performance of students.
• Guide students during clinical postings and OSCE exams.
• Support management in other tasks as needed.

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Clinical Instructor to supervise and guide students during clinical practice, develop their practical skills, and ensure safe and effective patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

Clinical Instructor

Perform clinical placement teaching at any hospitals or clinics as assigned by College.

Provide appropriate clinical experiences and ward assignments for the students through effective guidance and supervision.

Manage skill laboratory inventories, practical rooms and stimulation wards.

Create a conducive learning environment for students.

Write and submit the students’ clinical posting reports.

Monitor students’ attendance and performance.

Monitor students’ progress and guide them during their clinical postings.

Help in carrying out OSCE exam.

Any other tasks as assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess Diploma in Nursing or a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

Valid practicing Annual Practice Certificate from Malaysian Nursing Board.

Possession of Post-Basic Certificate or Advanced Diploma from the Malaysian Nursing Board.

Necessary to have at least 5 years of experience in clinical areas.

Community experience or post-basic specialty in Obstetrics Nursing and Pediatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing or Gerontology and Medical Surgical Nursing is an added advantage.

Able to work effectively and efficiently as a team member as well as independently.
