Qualitas Medical Group (Southern) – Klinik Doctor House MD, Taman Daya is seeking a Clinic Assistant/Registered Staff Nurse/Medical Assistant to join our private clinic. This full-time role involves clinical support, patient care, reception duties, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include a Diploma in Nursing, LJM APC registration, and at least 1 year of nursing experience; fresh graduates are welcome. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Registered with the Lembaga Jurururawat Malaysia (LJM) and possess a valid APC.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience as a Staff Nurse or fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrates competence in delivering high-quality nursing care.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Clinical & treatment support: prepare rooms, assist doctors, monitor vitals, wound care, administer medications.
• Patient care & reception: register patients, manage appointment flow, provide service, issue receipts and MCs.

Clinic Assistant/Registered Staff Nurse/Medical Assistant

We are looking for a talented Clinic Assistant/Registered Staff Nurse/Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team at Qualitas Medical Group (Southern)- Klinik Doctor House MD, Taman Daya. This is a full-time position and an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality medical care within our growing private clinic.

Job Responsibilities

1. Clinical & Treatment Support

Prepare consultation and treatment rooms before each session

Assist doctors during consultations, procedures, minor surgeries, and emergencies

Perform basic nursing duties such as wound dressing, vital signs monitoring, and patient assessments

Administer medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner

Ensure patient comfort and safety in accordance with clinical standards, policies, and nursing ethics

Handle and maintain medical instruments properly

Ensure sufficient medical supplies are available at all times

Collect, label, and manage lab specimens accurately

Maintain proper filing of lab reports and patient medical records

2. Patient Care & Reception Duties

Register patients and ensure accurate data entry into the clinic system

Coordinate patient flow and assist with appointment scheduling

Communicate patient information clearly to doctors and relevant parties

Provide professional and courteous service to patients at all times

Dispense medications in accordance with prescriptions and guidelines

Provide clear instructions on medication dosage, usage, and duration

Prepare and label medications accurately

Maintain accurate records of prescribed and dispensed medications

Handle billing, invoicing, and payment collection accurately

Issue receipts, medical certificates (MCs), and related documents

Update billing information in the clinic system and relevant portals

Ensure all treatment records and reports are properly documented and attached

5. General & Support Functions

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and reports

Support customer service, public relations, and marketing activities

Keep doctors informed of daily activities, including medications dispensed and MCs issued

Perform any additional duties assigned by management

Job Requirements

Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification.

Registered with the Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia (LJM) and possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).

Minimum 1 year of working experience as a Staff Nurse in a hospital or similar setting; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Demonstrates competence in delivering high-quality nursing care.

Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Able to work independently while effectively coordinating and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Capable of multitasking and maintaining performance in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Exhibits enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a strong commitment to continuous professional development.
