Job summary

AEGIS Clinic & Surgery is seeking a reliable Clinic Assistant to join our team in Eco Ardence, Setia Alam. You will be involved in daily clinic operations, patient service, medication dispensing, and assisting doctors with clinical procedures.

Training is provided, with opportunities for greater responsibilities as the clinic grows. The role requires rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, and a focus on professional patient care.

Qualifications

• Welcome, register and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Manage appointments, telephone calls and WhatsApp enquiries.
• Handle front-desk duties, payments, cashiering and receipts.
• Prepare consultation and treatment areas before and after patient care.
• Assist doctors during minor procedures and treatments when required.
• Dispense medications accurately according to doctors' instructions and clinic SOPs.
• Coordinate laboratory investigations, specimen handling and patient follow-up.
• Maintain accurate patient records and administrative documentation.
• Monitor medications, consumables and clinic stock levels.
• Assist with stock checking, replenishment and expiry-date monitoring.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and readiness of clinical and reception areas.
• Assist with daily clinic opening and closing procedures.
• Perform other reasonable clinic-related duties as required.

AEGIS Clinic & Surgery is looking for a reliable, responsible and patient-oriented Clinic Assistant to join our growing team in Eco Ardence, Setia Alam.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally with patients and is interested in building a stable, long-term career in a medical clinic.

This is more than a basic reception role. You will be involved in day-to-day clinic operations, patient service, medication dispensing, laboratory coordination and assisting doctors with clinical procedures.

Training will be provided, and suitable team members will have opportunities to take on greater responsibilities as the clinic grows.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome, register and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner

What We Are Looking For

Able to communicate confidently in Mandarin, as the role involves communication with Mandarin-speaking patients

Able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English

Friendly, courteous and professional when dealing with patients

Responsible, punctual and dependable

Good work attitude and willingness to contribute as part of a small clinic team

Good attention to detail and able to follow instructions and clinic SOPs

Comfortable handling patients, medications, payments and confidential information

Basic computer and smartphone literacy

Comfortable working in a healthcare environment

Able to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays according to roster

Willing to learn and gradually take on additional responsibilities

AEGIS Clinic & Surgery operates daily from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM. Staff work according to a scheduled roster and are not expected to work the clinic's entire operating hours.

Experience

Previous experience in any of the following is an advantage:

GP clinic or medical centre

Pharmacy

Healthcare or wellness centre

Reception or customer service

Retail environments involving customer interaction and cashiering

Previous clinic experience is not compulsory.

Fresh graduates and candidates without healthcare experience are encouraged to apply if they demonstrate good communication skills, reliability, maturity and willingness to learn.
