Job summary

Evergrand Electronic Scientific Technology Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Cleanroom Fit-Out Engineer to coordinate and oversee interior fit-out works for semiconductor and industrial facility projects.

You will ensure works meet technical, safety and quality requirements while maintaining project schedules and controlling costs on site in Malaysia. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required, with the ability to interpret drawings, perform quantity take-offs and communicate

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Excel with ability to interpret drawings and prepare quantities.
• Knowledge of interior fit-out construction standards and methods.
• Strong focus on safety management, quality control, schedule management and cost control.
• Excellent communication and coordination with internal teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interior fit-out works, including partitions, ceilings, doors, flooring and finishes.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
• Prepare and revise AutoCAD drawings, organise drawing layouts and perform quantity take-offs.
• Prepare material quantity summaries, progress reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ensure installation works comply with applicable standards, approved drawings and project specifications.
• Monitor site safety, workmanship and material quality; identify defects and follow up on corrective actions.
• Plan and monitor work schedules, coordinate resources and address issues affecting project progress.
• Monitor material usage, work quantities and costs to minimise wastage and support budget control.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, consultants, main contractors and subcontractors on site requirements and work interfaces.
• Assign and communicate subcontractor tasks, monitor execution and ensure timely completion.

Coordinate interior fit-out works, including partitions, ceilings, doors, flooring and associated architectural finishes.

Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical requirements.

Prepare and revise AutoCAD drawings, organise drawing layouts and perform quantity take-offs.

Prepare material quantity summaries, progress reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.

Ensure installation works comply with applicable standards, approved drawings and project specifications.

About you

Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including drawing interpretation, modification, layout preparation and quantity take-offs.

Sound knowledge of interior fit-out construction standards, installation methods and technical requirements, with the ability to apply them practically.

Strong awareness and capability in safety management, quality control, schedule management and cost control.

Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, external project management teams and subcontractors.

Responsible, resilient and team-oriented, with strong ownership of assigned tasks.

Willing to travel and accept deployment to project sites according to operational needs.
