Job summary

Pembinaan Kekal Mewah Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, is seeking an Engineering Assistant to support civil and structural projects. This full-time role offers hands-on experience alongside senior engineers in planning, design and execution of construction initiatives.

You will prepare and review drawings, assist with site inspections, analyze data, and help with reports and cost estimates. A diploma or degree in civil or structural engineering and good Malay/English communication are essential.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
Strong knowledge of civil/structural engineering principles.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software.
Attention to detail and good communication in Malay and English.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and reviewing technical drawings and specs.
Support site inspections to ensure design compliance.
Collect and analyze engineering data for ongoing projects.
Coordinate with design teams, contractors and stakeholders on technical matters.
Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
Assist in material quantity and cost estimation.
Support QA/QC on site.
Facilitate clear communication across project teams.
