Job summary

CS VICTORY SDN BHD invites a Civil Engineer to lead and supervise civil and structural works in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This full-time role focuses on overseeing engineering activities and ensuring project specifications meet required standards.

The successful candidate will interpret drawings, monitor progress, maintain QA/QC, liaise with clients and contractors, and prepare progress reports for developers. A Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering with 2–3 years' experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 2–3 years of construction industry experience.
• Knowledge of QA/QC, construction methods, materials and safety practices.
• Familiarity with Bill of Quantities (BQ) and construction documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate project activities to ensure safe, efficient and timely execution.
• Interpret and implement engineering drawings, specifications and project plans.
• Monitor construction progress, quality and workmanship for compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct inspections and maintain records, reports and documentation.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and stakeholders on project issues and concerns.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.
• Monitor project quantities and works in line with the Bill of Quantities (BQ).
• Prepare and present project progress updates during meetings with the developer.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations and company policies.
