Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD and related design software.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

About the role

We are seeking a Civil & Structural Engineer to join the team at PERUNDING KJP SDN. BHD. This is a full-time position based in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. As a Civil & Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and execution of structural projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all structural designs meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications. This role is integral to delivering high-quality engineering solutions that support the company's commitment to excellence in civil and structural engineering services.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution
• Professional Engineering qualification or registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) is highly desirable
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in structural design and analysis
• Proficiency in structural design software such as Prota Structure ,Esteem
• Strong knowledge of building codes and standards, including MS 1228, BS 8103, and Eurocode standards
• Excellent understanding of reinforced concrete and steel structural design principles
• Experience with AutoCAD and other design and documentation software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects concurrently
• Knowledge of construction management practices and site supervision techniques is advantageous
• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modelling) is preferred
