Job summary

The role demands hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and industrial structures, proficiency in Prota Structure, Esteem, AutoCAD, and BIM, and a solid understanding of MS 1228, BS 8103, and Eurocodes. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to deliver compliant, safe designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• P.E. registration with BEM is highly desirable.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency in Prota Structure and Esteem.
• Experience with AutoCAD and related design software.
• Knowledge of MS 1228, BS 8103, and Eurocodes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a team.
• Site supervision and construction monitoring experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis and design for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, and specifications in line with codes and standards.
• Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other professionals to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Review construction drawings and specifications prepared by junior staff.
• Perform site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with designs and quality standards.
• Identify potential structural issues and provide innovative solutions.
• Prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and client presentations.
• Ensure all projects comply with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Contribute to project proposals and feasibility studies for new assignments.
• Mentor and support junior engineering staff.
