Job summary

Tenera Engineering Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Diploma/Certificate holder in Civil Engineering or related fields with at least 3 years of site experience in civil and structural works. You will read technical drawings, work independently and be willing to extend hours as required on our Tanjung Langsat project.

Responsibilities include site coordination, supervision, QA/QC compliance, progress reporting, and enforcing HSE standards to ensure on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years site experience in civil and structural works.
• Ability to read drawings and technical specifications.
• Willingness to work extended hours or weekends when required by site progress.

Job description

We are an established EPCC for palm oil downstream projects. We are recruiting for our new project in Tanjung Langsat for Ultra high volume palm oil refinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Coordination & Supervision

Supervise daily civil and structure works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and method statements.

Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and site workers to ensure smooth progress of work.

Monitor work sequences to ensure proper construction practices and safety procedures are followed.

Quality Control

Inspect and verify workmanship, structural elements, rebar works, formworks, concreting, masonry and finishing work.

Ensure materials delivered to site comply with approved specification and QA/QC requirements.

Highlight non-conformities and ensure corrective action are taken.

Progress Monitoring

Track daily site progress and report to Site Manager.

Prepare daily site reports, progress photo, and update work status.

Ensure work is completed within schedule, resolving site constraints promptly.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Ensure all site personnel comply with safety rules and regulations.

Report unsafe acts/ conditions and enforce corrective action.

Requirements

Diploma/ Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction or related fields.

Minimum 3 years site experience in civil & structural works

Able to understand technical drawings and specification.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Willing to work extended hours or weekends if required by site progress.
