Job summary

Seremban Engineering Berhad invites applications for a Civil/Construction Project role focused on overseeing projects from planning through handover. You will attend progress meetings, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

The candidate should have a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, several years of relevant experience, and strong communication plus CIDB-related credentials where applicable.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• Several years of civil/construction project experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills are essential.
• CIDB registration/accreditation where applicable to the position/project.

Responsibilities

• Attend progress meetings and prepare project reports.
• Manage contractual obligations, extensions of time, variations, and claims.
• Ensure construction meets project specifications and approved standards.
• Progress monitoring & reporting.
• Track actual progress against the approved schedule.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports.
• Identify delays, risks, and critical-path issues and implement recovery plans.
• Project handover.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning where applicable.
• Ensure handover documents are completed.
