Job summary

TMM ENGINEERING SERVICES SDN BHD is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and monitor site activities across oil and gas facility projects in Malaysia. You will supervise civil works, ensure adherence to drawings, specs, quality, and safety, and manage subcontractors and suppliers.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with strong leadership and communication skills to drive project progress and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in civil/building construction projects.
• Experience supervising site activities and managing subcontractors/suppliers.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, excellent communication, and proactive problem-solving abilities.

Conduct site measurements and setting-out works as required.

Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal engineering teams.

Prepare site reports, progress updates, technical documentation, and ensure works adhere to approved drawings and relevant standards.

Resolve technical and site issues promptly to prevent project delays.

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Minimum 1 year of working experience in civil/building construction projects.

Proven experience supervising site activities and managing subcontractors/suppliers.

Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
