Job summary

Ageson Kensetsu Sdn. Bhd. invites motivated interns to join the civil engineering team and gain hands-on site experience in Malaysia.

You will assist the project and site teams, learn construction processes, and develop practical skills in reporting, drawings review, and coordination with contractors, under supervision.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to inspections, measurements, safety practices, and documentation while supporting Engineers and Supervisors.

Qualifications

• Pursuing diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Basic knowledge of construction processes and engineering principles.
• Willing to learn and work in a site/construction environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Internship duration: minimum 6 months; internship allowance provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist project and site team in daily construction activities and site coordination.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work follows project plans and specs.
• Assist with site inspections, measurements, and documentation.
• Support engineers and supervisors in preparing reports and records.
• Review drawings, method statements, and other technical documents.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project team members.
• Attend site meetings and record updates and action items.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site requirements.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or project team.

Responsibilities:

Assist with site inspections, measurements, and basic documentation.

Support engineers and supervisors in preparing reports, records, and project documentation.

Assist in reviewing drawings, method statements, and other technical documents.

Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other project team members when required.

Attend site meetings and assist with recording site updates and action items.

Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and site requirements.

Perform other duties and tasks assigned by the supervisor or project team.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Basic knowledge of construction processes and engineering principles.

Willing to learn and work in a site/construction environment.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.

Responsible, proactive, and willing to take initiative.

Minimum internship duration of 6 months.
