Job summary

Ecotreat Engineering Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to support planning, design, supervision and execution of civil projects at various site locations.

You will read drawings, prepare technical documents, monitor quality and safety, coordinate with clients and contractors, and help with cost estimation and reporting. Fresh graduates are welcome; knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• Knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods and site practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise civil engineering works at project sites.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documents, method statements, work programmes, and reports.
• Monitor project progress, site activities, materials, workmanship, and construction quality.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues encountered during project execution.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, measurements, and documentation.
• Assist with project costing, material quantity calculations, and preparation of quotations where required.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements at project sites.

Requirements

• Able to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and other engineering software is an advantage.

• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites when required.
• Possess a valid driving licence.
