Fit Pioneer Resources is seeking a hands-on Civil Engineer for a Johor site role. You will coordinate civil works, liaise with consultants and contractors, review drawings, monitor progress, and ensure safety and quality compliance on a major project.

The role requires 4+ years in civil engineering or site management, and willingness to be based at the Johor project site. Accommodation may be provided for suitable candidates.

About the role

We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Civil Engineer to join our project team at a site in Johor. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily site operations, coordinating civil works, following up on technical matters, and ensuring project activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the required quality and project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate, supervise, and monitor civil and construction works at the project site.
• Liaise closely with consultants, contractors, site supervisors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review construction drawings, identify technical issues, and coordinate the necessary follow-up actions.
• Monitor project progress, workmanship quality, site safety, and compliance with approved requirements.
• Assist in preparing site reports, project documentation, progress updates, and handover-related documents.
• Support the project team in resolving site issues and ensuring works remain on schedule and within project scope.
• Assist with project execution from the approval and construction stages through to completion and final handover.
• Ensure site activities are carried out in accordance with relevant Malaysian construction standards, specifications, and project requirements.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Relevant 4 years of experience in civil engineering, structural works, construction, or project/site management.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian construction practices, standards, and site procedures.
• Strong ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with multiple project stakeholders.
• Good problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong organisational, reporting, and documentation abilities.
• Proactive, responsible, and comfortable working in a hands-on site environment.
• Willing to be based at the project site in Johor.
