Job summary

Broadcom in Penang seeks an experienced engineering leader to drive backend semiconductor manufacturing initiatives. You will lead ramp-up of new facilities and oversee qualification of CM partners, equipment, and processes for mass production.

You will own the transition from NPI to high-volume manufacturing, monitor yields across contract manufacturers, and spearhead cost reduction and data-driven improvements using JMP, while ensuring strict quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Fiber Optics/Photonics Product Engineering, or related highly technical field.

Responsibilities

• Lead ramp-up of new facilities and aggressive capacity scaling within strict timelines.
• Lead evaluation, qualification, and onboarding of CM partners, equipment, and processes for mass production.
• Drive seamless NPI to HVM transitions and be the technical defense on the factory floor.
• Monitor CM yields; identify Low Yield, On-Hold, and Rework issues and drive improvements.
• Resolve daily CM engineering, production, and quality issues with robust corrective actions.
