Broadcom Inc. in Penang seeks a senior leader to drive new facilities ramp-up, equipment qualification, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely mass production transitions.

You will lead NPI-to-HVM transfers, optimize yields across contract manufacturers, manage costs, and apply JMP for data-driven decisions. Strong leadership of remote teams and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years hands-on engineering and leadership in backend Indium Phosphide InP wafer processing or related semiconductor/photonics manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Bar Processing such as Bar Stacker/unstack, Scribe & Break, AOI, and Pick & Place.
• Proven leadership of remote teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Expertise in yield improvement, process optimization, and equipment qualification.
• Proficient in JMP for advanced statistical data analysis and decision making.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills with external partners.

Responsabilités

• Lead the ramp-up of new facilities and aggressive capacity scaling on schedule.
• Oversee qualification of new CM partners, equipment, and processes.
• Drive seamless NPI to HVM product transfers and resolve on-floor issues.
• Monitor and improve yields across contract manufacturers.
• Address daily CM engineering, production, and quality issues with corrective actions.
• Oversee product costing analyses and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Perform data-driven engineering analyses and monitor CM performance metrics.
• Conduct on-site quality audits of partner facilities and manage root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet project timelines.
