Job summary

TP Malaysia Teleperformance invites you to join as a full-time Mandarin or Cantonese interpreter working from home in Malaysia. Night shifts are required to cover regional clients.

You will provide professional customer support via email and calls, document interactions, and collaborate with Operations, Technical, and Quality teams to resolve issues and meet SLAs. A Bachelor's degree or Diploma and CEFR English level C1/C2 are required; typing speed 40 WPM with 90% accuracy is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer support via email and verbal interpretation (Chinese-English-Chinese).

• Provide product or service-related assistance following SOPs.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer support via channels such as email and verbal interpretation (Chinese-English-Chinese).
• Handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints, ensuring service levels meet SLAs and quality standards.
• Accurately document customer interactions and promptly update system data.
• Provide product or service-related assistance to customers in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate closely with internal teams (Operations, Technical, Quality, etc.) to ensure efficient issue resolution.
• Meet individual and team KPIs, including response time, customer satisfaction, and resolution rates.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) work environment.
• Prior experience in customer service, call centers, or BPO is preferred (training provided for those without experience).
• Basic computer proficiency.

Technical Skills

• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) with an accuracy rate of no less than 90%.
• Computer proficiency; familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office software.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree, or at least a Diploma (or equivalent qualification); major is open.
• English proficiency at C1 or C2 level; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
