Job summary

Bursa Malaysia Berhad is seeking a senior leader to develop and commercialise digital asset and tokenisation initiatives, including strategy execution, business case development, stakeholder engagement, and ecosystem development.

The role requires strong capital markets expertise, leadership experience, and proficiency in regulatory and Islamic finance contexts. You will drive innovation and market growth across the exchange’s digital asset programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, CS or Engineering.
10+ years in capital markets or related fields; 5+ years in senior leadership.
Professional qualifications such as CFA/CA/ACCA/FRM or blockchain/DLT certifications; programme management certs are a plus.
Islamic finance qualifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the digital asset and tokenisation strategy, roadmap and business plans.
Lead pilots, regulatory sandbox participation, and transition to production environments.
Engage regulators and industry participants on digital asset frameworks and compliance.
Build and lead a high-performing team and manage vendor selection and partnerships.
