Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years in R&D, quality control, or lab operations in chemical or construction chemicals.
• Knowledge of cementitious materials, waterproofing products, or construction chemicals is a plus.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Sales team with product demonstrations, testing, and customer complaint investigations.
• Supervise and guide Laboratory Assistants and foreign workers in daily lab activities.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain documentation in compliance with ISO standards.

To ensure
Quality Control (QC) must be conducted strictly in accordance with the standard
testing procedures and to ensure all the products meet the specifications.

Provide technical support to the
Sales team, including product demonstrations, application testing, and customer
complaint investigations.

• Supervise
  and guide Laboratory Assistants and foreign worker in daily laboratory
  activities.
• Prepare

  9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.
• Ensure
  laboratory operations comply with company safety policies, quality
  standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Work
  closely with cross-functional teams to support product development and
  continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development (R&D) activities, including product formulation, product improvement, and new product development.
• Perform laboratory testing and formulation adjustments to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Evaluate new raw materials and collaborate with suppliers on material sourcing and performance testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's
  Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related
  field.
• Preferably
  1–3 years of experience in R&D, Quality Control, or laboratory
  operations within the chemical or construction chemical industry.
• Knowledge
  of cementitious materials, waterproofing products, or construction
  chemicals will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity
  with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems is preferred.
• Good
  analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient
  in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Good
  command of both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing
  to travel occasionally for customer visits, technical support, or product
  demonstrations.
