Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a laboratory technician to conduct testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished palm oil products to ensure quality and compliance.

You will monitor product quality and process parameters, provide timely laboratory results to production, and investigate abnormal results with the production team to identify root causes and corrective actions. You will also maintain records, COA and quality reports and support audits and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished palm oil products in accordance with established specifications and test methods.
• Monitor product quality and process parameters, and provide timely laboratory results to support production operations.
• Investigate abnormal and out-of-specification results and work with Production to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, test results, COA and quality reports.
• Assist in maintaining and improving laboratory SOPs, test methods and quality control procedures.
• Support internal and external audits, inspections and continuous improvement activities.
• Provide technical guidance to laboratory technicians/assistants and perform other duties as assigned by Management.
