Job summary

SS Laboratory Services Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a laboratory technician to support day-to-day operations within the designated section. The role includes ensuring timely completion of tests and assisting in the testing of new products or procedures.

You will work in shifts and may undertake overtime as required, performing tasks according to SOPs and ISO 17025 requirements while reporting abnormalities and maintaining 5S and GLP practices.

Qualifications

• Day-to-day operation of the respective section in the laboratory.
• Ensure that all tests are completed on time.
• Assist in the testing of new products or procedures.
• Work in shifts and perform overtime (OT) as and when required.
• Perform tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and in compliance with ISO 17025 requirements.
• Report any abnormalities or non-conformances to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S practices.
• Observe laboratory safety procedures and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lab section operations and ensure timely test completion.
• Assist with testing of new products or procedures under supervision.
• Adhere to SOPs and ISO 17025; maintain cleanliness and HL/GLP standards.
• Work in shifts and accommodate OT as required.
• Report abnormalities to supervisor and escalate as needed.
• Follow GLP and 5S practices and perform other duties as assigned.
