Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas in Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a skilled Commis Chef / Kitchen Supervisor to lead daily culinary operations in a luxury resort kitchen.

You will prepare and present dishes to a high standard, supervise junior staff, ensure HACCP compliance, manage mise en place, and control food costs while maintaining cleanliness and safety. The role requires 2–4 years in hospitality and a culinary diploma.

Formación

• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in a hotel/restaurant or catering operation.
• Strong knowledge of international cooking techniques and HACCP.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, cook, and present menu items to approved recipes and standards.
• Organize daily mise en place and oversee kitchen operations during service.
• Supervise, train, and guide Commis Chefs and Kitchen Helpers.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, and safety procedures.
• Assist in stock checks, cost controls, and inventory management.
