Job summary

Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas in Malaysia is seeking a Chef de Partie to oversee the culinary dishes prepared in their section, ensuring quality, creativity, and variety across the hotel’s F&B offerings.

The role requires strong knowledge of your specialty, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment, including giving orders within the section and executing directives from the Sous and Head Chefs.

Qualifications

• A Chef de Partie must be very knowledgeable about their specialty, as well as culinary functions in general.
• A person must be very organized and comfortable working in a high-pressure environment.
• A Chef de Partie must also be able to give orders within their section, as well as reliably carry out orders handed down to them by the Sous Chef and Head Chef.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all culinary dishes that are prepared in their section.
• Ability to lead and coordinate section tasks, ensuring quality, consistency and timely service.
• Carry out orders and directions from the Sous Chef and Head Chef, maintaining high standards across the kitchen.
