Job description

This role involves performing routine maintenance and repair tasks across building systems, infrastructure, and equipment. You will identify and troubleshoot problems, take necessary measures to repair or replace faulty components, and ensure optimal functioning of all facility systems through both reactive and preventive maintenance approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Receive work orders and coordinate work to fit schedule as assigned; attend to fix the job order assigned and send update to requestor
• Repair electric motors, controllers and other auxiliary electrical devices
• Install new wiring and electrical machinery; isolate and repair defective circuits as required
• Dismantle electrical machinery and break connections; replace defective parts; reassemble, and test for proper operation
• Maintenance and repair of dock levelers, roller shutters, scissor lifts, platform lifts and auto gates
• Respond to emergency calls and maintenance requests and be the first line in troubleshooting and attending to problems
• Repair and maintenance of all lightings and socket outlets in offices, production floor, garden, and car parks
• Conduct daily meter recordings and monitoring for M&E equipment, BAS system, HT and LT systems, generator, UPS, data center air conditioning, water and chiller systems
• Conduct regular inspections and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal functioning of building systems
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes, conduct safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and take necessary corrective actions

About you

• Diploma or Certificate in any Engineering or equivalent field
• More than 5 years' experience working in Facilities Management
• Chargeman (A0 / A1) and electrical work certification
• Must be able to work in rotation shift (12 hours/day)
• Able to work independently and with minimum supervision
• Fire fighting training and certification from fire department is a plus point
