Acre Works Sdn Bhd, a Kuala Lumpur–based construction company with extensive civil works experience across Malaysia, is seeking a field surveying support role in Penang. The candidate will assist in setting up survey instruments and performing measurements to ensure accurate site layouts for construction activities.

The role involves helping with leveling, marking, and data transfer to reports, while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety guidelines.

Descripción del empleo

To provide field support to the Survey Team in carrying out site measurements, leveling, marking, and survey equipment setup to ensure accurate site layout and alignment for construction works.

Key Responsibilities

Assist surveyors in setting up and handling survey instruments, including total stations, GPS, and auto levels.

Assist in site measurements, leveling, marking, and verification of coordinates, benchmarks, and alignment.

Record survey measurements and assist in transferring field data to reports or drawings.

Maintain survey equipment, tools, and work areas in good condition.

Comply with site safety requirements, PPE guidelines, and company policies.

Coordinate with the Survey Team and site personnel to support daily surveying activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic educational qualification with the ability to read, understand, and record survey information.

Preferably 1–3 years of experience in construction or surveying fieldwork.

Basic knowledge of surveying, measurement, and leveling techniques is an advantage.

Responsible, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a team.

Willing to work extended hours, weekends, or shifts when required.
