Job summary

Sime Darby Industrial Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced operations leader responsible for the Central business units. You will take full P&L ownership, guide branch operations, and drive performance across a hands-on, values-driven environment.

Role requires managing diverse teams (new CAT/SEM machinery, used equipment, rental and product support) to meet schedule, budget, safety and quality standards while maintaining customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with 4–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in sales, operations, customers and people.
• Proven ability in business development, P&L management, budgeting and targets.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of operational efficiency, customer service and safety compliance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to travel within Central region.

Responsibilities

• Deliver operational leadership and full P&L for Central businesses.
• Direct day-to-day operations of Central branches, upholding values.
• Manage strategic, technical, commercial and personnel challenges affecting customer service.
• Ensure financial health and risk management controls.
• Motivate staff and align with senior management's vision.
• Lead branches' teams: New CAT/SEM machine, used equipment, rental and product support.
• Drive operational efficiency and safety, quality, and compliance.
• Travel within Central region as needed.
