Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or related fields.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in CCTV, IT surveillance, security systems or related environments.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test and commission CCTV surveillance systems and related equipment.
• Manage and maintain CCTV servers, storage systems, Video Management Systems (VMS) and recording infrastructure.
• Perform troubleshooting and technical support for CCTV cameras, NVR, DVR, servers and related hardware.
• Monitor the health, performance and availability of CCTV systems and servers.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for surveillance equipment and infrastructure.
• Configure and troubleshoot IP cameras, network switches, PoE switches, routers and related connectivity.
• Manage video storage, recording retention and backup requirements.
• Support system upgrades, hardware replacement and expansion of existing CCTV systems.
• Conduct site inspections, testing and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients and internal technical teams for project implementation and issues.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance reports, system documentation and asset records.
• Ensure all installation and maintenance works comply with project specifications, safety requirements and technical standards.
• Provide technical support during system faults, incidents and emergencies.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CCTV Specialist to manage the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of CCTV surveillance systems, including related hardware, servers, storage and network infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability and performance of the Company's IT surveillance systems.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or other related fields.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in CCTV, IT surveillance, security systems or related technical environments.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV hardware, IP cameras, NVR/DVR, VMS, servers and storage systems.
• Experience in networking, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, PoE switches and network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with CCTV and surveillance platforms such as Milestone, Genetec, Hikvision, Dahua or equivalent will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, server hardware, RAID configuration and storage systems is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software-related issues.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites when required.
• Able to work independently and as part of a technical team.
