Job summary

Alma Technology Sdn. Bhd. seeks a capable Technical Support specialist to troubleshoot CCTV and networking systems for customers. The role emphasizes clear communication, field and remote support, and collaboration with sales and project teams.

Ideal candidates will have CCTV installation/troubleshooting experience, solid IP networking skills, and familiarity with enterprise equipment from major vendors. On-site and remote assistance may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of CCTV applications (IP and Analog) and installation/troubleshooting.
• Strong IP networking and routing protocol understanding (BGP/OSPF/VLAN, QoS, VPN).
• Experience with LAN/WAN/WLAN design and capacity planning is a plus.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or related are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and explain resolutions to customers.
• Provide on-demand technical support via remote and conference calls.
• Handle customer support for hardware/software and network equipment issues.
• Be available for on-call standby and on-site/online troubleshooting as needed.
• Coordinate with sales, project managers and service teams on project status.
