Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur seeks a CCTV design professional to plan and design surveillance systems for hubs and warehouses. The role involves site assessments, layouts, vendor coordination, and end-to-end project management with travel to sites. Fresh graduates are welcome; basic IP camera, NVR, VMS, and networking knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of IP cameras, NVRs, VMS platforms, and networking.
• Ability to read technical drawings and develop surveillance layouts.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design CCTV surveillance systems for hubs, warehouses, and critical areas.
• Conduct site assessments, prepare surveillance layouts, and recommend equipment.
• Coordinate end-to-end CCTV installation projects with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
• Monitor live surveillance systems and perform preventive checks and basic troubleshooting.
• Identify system issues and recommend repairs, upgrades, or improvements.
• Ensure CCTV systems comply with internal security SOPs and requirements.
• Maintain documentation for surveillance equipment and footage.
• Liaise with vendors to ensure service quality and smooth project execution.
• Assist in evaluation and procurement of CCTV and security solutions.
• Travel to different hubs or sites as required.

Work Location: Menara Southpoint, Kuala Lumpur
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 6:30pm
Contract Duration: 6 Months (1 month probation + 5 months contract extension upon successful confirmation) - renewable
Work Arrangement: Work From Office + Site Visits
Mileage Claim: Applicable for required travel

Job Scope:

• Plan and design CCTV surveillance systems for hubs, warehouses, and critical areas
• Conduct site assessments, prepare surveillance layouts, and recommend suitable equipment
• Coordinate end-to-end CCTV installation projects with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
• Monitor live surveillance systems and perform preventive checks and basic troubleshooting
• Identify system issues and recommend necessary repairs, upgrades, or improvements
• Ensure CCTV systems comply with internal security SOPs and relevant requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for surveillance equipment and footage
• Liaise with vendors and stakeholders to ensure service quality and smooth project execution
• Support the evaluation and procurement of suitable CCTV and security solutions
• Travel to different hubs or sites when required

Requirements:

• Relevant experience is an advantage; Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
• Basic understanding of IP cameras, NVRs, VMS platforms, and networking is an added advantage
• Ability to read technical drawings and develop surveillance layout plans is a plus
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Willing to travel to different hubs/sites when required

Salary & Benefits:

• Basic Salary: RM2,500
• Mileage Claim: Applicable for work-related travel
• Statutory Benefits: Based on Employment Act
