Job summary

Lecadia Prima Care Centre Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide daily care and assistance to residents. You will help with bathing, feeding, mobility, and personal hygiene while maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful environment.

Experience in caregiving is an advantage. The role requires compassion, good communication, teamwork, and willingness to work shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a caregiver, healthcare assistant, ward aide, or in a nursing home is an advantage.
• Caring, patient, responsible, and compassionate personality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to assist with lifting and transferring residents.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and assistance to residents/patients.

Job description

Assist residents with feeding and ensure proper nutrition and hydration.

Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning.

Monitor residents’ general condition and report any changes to the nurse in charge.

Assist nurses with basic nursing and care duties as instructed.

Maintain cleanliness and comfort of residents’ rooms and surrounding areas.

Change bed linens and keep residents’ personal belongings organized.

Assist with transferring and accompanying residents for appointments or activities.

Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.

Follow proper infection control, safety, and hygiene procedures.

Maintain accurate records and documentation when required.

Ensure residents’ dignity, privacy, and safety are maintained at all times.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements
