Job summary

Passion Care Centre is seeking a dedicated caregiver in Sabah, Malaysia. The role focuses on daily patient care, including bathing, feeding, and ensuring comfort and safety for all residents.

You will monitor vital signs, remind patients about medications, and assist with appointments or religious activities as needed. This position emphasizes compassionate service within a collaborative team, with a strong commitment to quality of life and dignity for every patient in our growing healthcare

Qualifications

• To ensure that patients are bathed, well cleaned and fed daily.
• To monitor vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and record results.
• To remind patients to take medications at prescribed times.
• To ensure beds are made and linens are clean daily.
• To reposition bedridden patients every two hours.
• To maintain safety while attending to patient activities.
• To assist with medical appointments or religious activities as needed.
• Any emergency must be reported to the head nurse immediately.

Responsibilities

• Bath, clean, and feed patients daily.
• Measure and document vital signs regularly.
• Remind patients to take medications on schedule.
• Make beds and maintain clean linens daily.
• Reposition bedridden patients every two hours.
• Ensure safety during patient movements and activities.
• Assist with appointments or activities as directed by management.
• Escalate emergencies to head nurse immediately.

Job Description

• To ensure that patients are bathe, well cleaned and fed daily.
• To ensure that vital signs of patients (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) are being taken checked, monitored and recorded.
• To remind patient at the Centre/home in taking their medications as per prescribed time
• To ensure the patients bed is made up and have clean linens daily.
• To ensure bedridden patients are being repositioned every two hours
• To give full attention to safety while attending to the movements/ activities of patients.
• To assist patients with their medical appointments or religious activities or any other services deemed necessary and approved by management.
• Any emergency must be attended to and immediately reported to the head nurse for further action.
