Job summary

Inter Island Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Capital Markets Operations professional to support post-settlement activities across Financial Markets products. You will handle settlement investigations, reconciliation breaks and claims management while ensuring controls and regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office and external counterparties to drive process improvements, automation and robust reporting on settlement performance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience in Capital Markets operations and post-trade functions.
• Strong knowledge of settlement lifecycle and reconciliation.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholder partnerships.
• Prior exposure to regulatory controls and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-settlement breaks, investigations and trade discrepancies.
• Ensure issues are investigated and resolved within timelines.
• Perform root-cause analysis on recurring settlement issues.
• Support claims, ageing tracking and resolution processes.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office and external counterparties.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Contribute to management reporting on settlement performance.
