WARZUQNI Food Industries in Putrajaya is seeking a Talented Canteen Cook to join our on-site culinary team. This full-time role focuses on preparing diverse meals for employees, maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation in a fast-paced canteen environment.

Responsibilities include menu execution, portion control, equipment upkeep, and collaboration with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service and compliance with safety regulations. Prior kitchen experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven cooking experience in a canteen/large-volume kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a diverse range of meals per set recipes and menus.
• Maintain high standards of quality, taste and presentation.
• Ensure food hygiene and safety compliance at all times.
• Manage portions for consistency and cost control.
• Operate and maintain canteen equipment (stoves, ovens, grills).
• Stock and organize ingredients and supplies in a clean setup.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service.
• Monitor storage temperatures and safe handling practices.
• Accommodate special dietary requests when possible.
• Contribute to menu planning and recipe improvements.
• Clean and sanitise kitchen areas and tools per standards.
