Job summary

Upright Talent is seeking an experienced operations leader to manage a premium café outlet in Malaysia. You will lead opening, setup, staff recruitment and training, and ensure service, product quality and compliance across daily operations.

You will develop SOPs, oversee inventory and costing, and drive KPIs including sales and customer feedback. A strong background in F&B/QSR and multi-outlet experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in F&B, coffee, retail or QSR operations.
• Experience in outlet opening or multi-outlet operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SOPs, manpower, inventory and suppliers.
• Basic understanding of P&L and cost control.
• POS or mobile ordering experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead outlet opening, setup and soft launch.
• Manage daily operations, service and product quality.
• Develop and implement outlet SOPs and standards.
• Recruit, train and manage outlet staff.
• Plan staff schedules and manpower requirements.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, suppliers and wastage.
• Monitor food cost, labour cost and operating expenses.
• Oversee POS, mobile ordering and daily reconciliation.
• Track sales, customer feedback and operational KPIs.
• Prepare monthly P&L and performance reports.
• Work with the team on coffee, products, training and quality.
• Ensure licensing, food safety and workplace compliance.
• Build operating and training systems for future outlets.
